$NUWE Recap 7/16/25

Giant smile on my face when I woke up to this thing today. First thing I'll mention, is something I said in the last post, about why I stopped everyday trading a few years ago, about not being "plugged in" to what's going on. If I just sat down today after not being here for a week or a month and saw this thing, I would have had a general idea, but not confidently known what to do with it. Point being, we're seeing one of these every day lately it feels like. A sub 1M float complete and utter shitbox just absolutely skyrocketing to the moon for no reason whatsoever. And they're beautiful ending in total destruction, as they should.

I was up early this morning, it was just before 5am. Scanners, empty. DAS Top List, empty. Just this one name NUWE, already traded 1-2 million shares by 5am, I check under the hood, garbage, 500K float if that, great. Nothin else going on. Not many people even awake yet. And it's the literal only thing to chase once they do wake up. So just by knowing these are popular right now, lack of other options to spread money out, I have a very good picture of what's likely to happen. If you know me at all, you know just how little I buy stocks. It's almost never. Well I bought this one, that's how much of a layup it felt like. And again I can get there, because the past week or two are letting me know this is probably going to go the same way, and I loved the early picture of it being the only game in town. We don't make the rules, all we can do is observe the action, and react. So here I'm just reacting to what's been working.

So it's barely 5am, and a 500K float name is the only thing up/on scanners and trading a few million shares already. Whats been happening with these? They go to the moon. So I bought it, that simple. You can see initial entries there around 5am I had an 11 avg. At that time 12.60 was previous HOD, so my plan was if this catches a bid it's probably going to take that out, so I sold half into there when that happened, and the other half was house money, lets wait for more people to wake up and see this thing and premarket should stay strong. Fact I don't buy stocks often, means I'm not all that great at trading them lol, so even after we got a new round of buying, I sold the rest into the high 13s, definitely shouldn't have done that. Because of note here is the timing. I ran out of shares to sell at like 6:50am. Don't forget all Robinhood money can't do anything until 7am. So do you think it was a coincidence whoever is running this today, magically showed up at 6:55 and started ramping this again and bringing volume in? Absoltuely not, they know damn well there's a swarm of dumb money that can't wait to sink their teeth into this at 7am when they're let out of their cages, and that's a nice tailwind to help them shove it even further. That's how I see it at least. Nobody knows for sure, but it looks pretty damn obvious to me.

So I regret not thinking about that, didn't cross my mind until after, and I missed the move from 13 to 18. I tried it short for the first time around 7:30, again thinking that fresh wave of new players and volume from 6:55-7:30 are now involved, we're $5 higher, and I saw some top wicks forming on the previous few candles. Position sizes here are still small, it's premarket, and these have been showing strength into open at the very least, if not longer like CYCC yesterday. Size wise, I'm talking like 1/5 of normal here. Too thin and too early to get heavy. So I thought I'd try and get a few bucks if there was a little let down period from everyone just buying the last half hour and it wasn't going north anymore. We sort of got that, but nothing substantial, and then just ended up turning into a beautiful bullish consolidation flag, so I bailed at 9am for minimal gain. Then the bullish pattern re-emerged. Tried one more time shortly after that thinking maybe a big wash before open rip sticks, but never came, so once again bailed flat there, minutes before open, and I've got nothing going into the bell.

Even though I'm biased that this is gonna rip into open due to the current market's soup de jour, I still don't want anything to do with the 9:30am action. Because obviously I don't know anything for certain. And whatever ends up happening, up or down, it's going to be chaos, halts, and madness for a minute. Don't need that headache, just look to capitalize on whichever side was wrong and scrambling to do damage control. And this is still a giant piece of shit at the end of the day, so who knows maybe it just completely collapses at open and they throw us a curveball, I don't know. And i'll find out with my eyeballs, not my money. So I was much happier just eating my popcorn, waiting to see what came our way, and looking to react from there.

It fortunately/unfortunately did rip, which sucked because thats what I expected and there was no time to get long so I missed that, but at the same time, now we're approaching mid 20s and pure stupidity levels, so I give up and drop any long bias left in my head, and now hunting for a short entry. Watching the tape, the ask, sell walls, soaking, all that fun stuff. We halt up once into high 20s. Open 22s, goes again, was about to halt again into the 25s the bid wall started forming and it was seconds from being stopped, but then some selling showed up. Ton of shares got soaked into that 25s level, and 24s, everybody getting eaten up. Again we don't know anything for sure, but that was kind of an instictual signal that some buyers might be in for a wake up call. Started in with a 25.05 avg short, this happened to be the top, which is, I'm gonna call it 60% "I'm pretty sure I knew what I was seeing when I entered", and 40% luck. You just never know, especially on these. They can flip scripts and drop anything on your face at a moments notice. So Didn't get a ton at 25, and then once I saw a little more and felt confimred, I got a much bigger add around 23 and it behaved beautifully from there. I covered most into 18, that was sort of the premarket push level resistance area, thought might become support now. It did not, so once that failed I added a little more back on at 10:55 after the covers just prior to that, and then got a few more bucks out of it with final covers into 15 and high 14s. Main reason for being done with it there, kind of what I mentioned when discussing names in general midday, we're coming into 11am now at this point, approaching the beginning of lull time, volume falls off a cliff, and action either just gets boring, sideways, or trappy, and we just don't need to be there for it. Find something to distract yourself if you're easly tempted to get chopped up during lull. For me today, I decided to start writing this after covering to keep me busy lol.

Best case scenario from here, a big trap and afternoon move for another crack at it, but a more likely scenario, just slowly dies like the shitbag it is.

Alright. That's a wrap on NUWE, hope that was helpful.
